This blog was supposed to be about movies, but it's turned into a "whatever I want" kind of thing. That's fine, it's not like there's much else to do, right? And this post has something to do with movies, I suppose.
I finally got a part-time job to help with the income. I'm hoping my financial stuff will mellow out over the next few months because of it, but we shall see. It isn't the job I wanted, but it's something to hold me over until that happens. Granted, I may be in this job for the next two to three years, but that's okay. We'll see if I make it that far (with my current track record, I'm not sure if I can do that).
I'm returning to school this Fall. Yes, that's right, I'm going back to school and I don't care how bad this hits me money wise. I will actually get a loan if I need to. I'm doing what I want, and that's that. I'm embracing a side of me that I've kind of kept hidden because I was terrified of ever letting any nerd part of me out. My family has always been a "work because you need the money, not because you love it" mindset and I want to change that. I want to work because I love it, not because I need the money (even if that is an issue).
So this Fall, I will be attending a local community college, taking Film Production classes.
I can't wait.
